Day 33: ISU Interviews Finish
We woke up to more competition on the beach. Amelia and Kate’s frisbee team made a miraculous comeback in their game and started the day off with a win. After breakfast, the ISU interviews continued. Teachers spent time with students at the various beach restaurants along the strip. We sat, feet in the sand, and talked about the stocks they would invest in, their photography skills thus far, a world issues lesson that they prepared, analyzed a short story together and listened as they read their favourite journal entries and shared conversations about where they are at and where they are going.
The rest of the class spent time raiding the lone convenience store, wandering the beach, and taking a dip in the pool at our resort. In the evening, it was time for dinner and a final submission deadline for assignments. Tomorrow, we’ll write tests. The free, open days are fast approaching.
