Media Production:Two Course Summer Study Abroad Program
Why Study Media Arts and English On Location?
Imagine wandering through the imperial gardens of Beijing’s Forbidden City, or capturing images atop the majestic Great Wall of China and the sun soaked ruins of Angkor Wat. This program is designed for students who are interested in telling the creative and thought-provoking stories of the people and places around them through media-based platforms. The focus of this course is to provide students with hands-on experience in photography, video production, investigative journalism, and media analysis. At the end of this program, students come away with a solid portfolio in order to propel them further in their post-secondary media production studies.
Media Production: Interdisciplinary Studies – Grade 12 (IDC4U)
The focus of this program is on providing students with hands-on experience in photography, video production, investigative journalism, and media analysis. In order to get to the heart of a story and deliver it in a dynamic way, students develop the ability to effectively communicate using three of the most important communication mediums: the use of images, video and language.
English – Grade 12 (ENG4U)
The core English course focuses on the refinement of literacy, communication and analytical skills. Students build on their understanding of academic language and practice using it confidently in discussion and argumentation both in oral and written forms.
Students can substitute Studies in Literature – Grade 12 (ETS4U)
English – Grade 11 (ENG3U)
The core English course gives students the opportunity to hone their presentation, analytical and critical thinking skills through assignments and activities that incorporate both oral and written communication.

(MEI International Academy) and one for travel cost (Carlson Wagonlit Victor Travel). The exact breakdown amounts will be indicated on your invoice and payments begin in January.
